Li's best piece of advice for women hoping to climb the corporate ladder, or for anyone new to the workforce, is to build bridges with coworkers. "It's allowed me to build connections when connections aren't so obvious, which really goes a long way," Li added. This mentality has served Li well in her career, she said. "There was no way out of it except to embrace that feeling," she told Insider in a written statement.
